He is entering the space of the organic smell of the woods, of living trees,

rare timber and what's underneath. A time so marked

from its difference as from every tiny moment that happens to you.

The earth seems to slip away under its own steps and transports

one through a surreal movement, to pass from a place -

sandalwood, oudh, to another - incense and balms,

and return to that olfactory space.

The scent is powerful.

It almost seems to "talk" to us in a low voice because

what we "feel" is about our memories,

contemplation and reconciliation.
