Ambergris, the liquid that emerges from the sperm whale and is a legendary ancient oxidizing substance, is one of the most valuable ingredients in perfumery. Because of its rarity and cost, amber (“gray amber”) is found in 99% of perfumes that list it as an ingredient.
In Ambre Supreme, the specially obtained natural version is used and colored using our proprietary ultrasonic extraction process at a dose of 10%, highlighting this precious ingredient with a unique ability to amplify and unify other notes in the composition.
All the interesting facets of Ambregris appear from amber and animal to mineral, sea and salty – adding what perfumer Antoine Lee describes as “shine and feeling” to the fragrance.
