Caron is a French perfume house founded by Ernest Daltroff in 1904. Although he had no prior experience or training in perfumery, his strong passion for the craft encouraged his mother to push him toward study and practice, leading to the launch of his first fragrance in 1911. The company was later sold to Patrick Alès Caron in 1998, who introduced a collection of elegant and luxurious perfumes that continue to be released to this day.
