The French niche perfume house BDK presents us with a new fragrance with a spicy amber character, which pays homage to the oriental facets of amber and the spice of saffron.

Ambre Safrano was signed by the talented Julien Rasquinet who subtly smoothed the black leather accord with the plum accord and Madagascar vanilla extract that brought fruity and gourmand facets.

We wanted to explore the different facets of amber while representing the burning heat of the East. We were inspired to create a sensual fragrance by combining amber with saffron. The symbolism of saffron is very strong in history. We wanted to represent this raw material through warm, woody and gourmand notes thanks to amber, suede and vanilla.
